Closey is a personal wardrobe management app built and maintained by Oddio. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
All data you create in Closey — clothing items, photos, outfits, wear logs, and closet organisation — is stored exclusively on your device. None of this data is transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
Photos you take or import are saved to your device's local storage only. They are never uploaded, shared, or accessible to anyone other than you.
The app requests access to your device camera solely to let you photograph clothing items. The camera is not used for any other purpose.
Closey offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade purchased through Google Play. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google. The app receives only a confirmation that a purchase was made — it never receives or stores your payment details, card number, or billing information.
The app uses Sentry (sentry.io) to collect anonymous crash reports. These reports contain information about the device model, operating system version, and the state of the app at the time of a crash. They do not contain your name, photos, clothing data, or any personally identifiable information. Crash reports are used solely to identify and fix bugs.
The app includes an optional "Send feedback" link in Settings and a one-time in-app survey that may appear after you have added several items to your wardrobe. Both are entirely optional and require your explicit action to use. If you choose to send feedback, the text or option you submit is sent directly to the developer via Google Forms. No feedback is collected without you actively choosing to send it. Feedback responses are used solely to improve the app and are not linked to any other data in your wardrobe.
The app provides an optional backup feature that creates a file containing your wardrobe data and photos. This file is shared using your device's native share sheet. The developer has no access to your backup files — you control where they are sent and stored.
Closey is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new effective date.
